1st Annual Heritage Day Classic to Benefit Charity at River Cree Casino

1st-Annual-Heritage-ClassicOn August 4th, the River Cree Resort and Casino in Enoch, Alberta near Edmonton will be hosting the 1st annual “Heritage Day Classic,” a poker tournament aimed at raising funds for charity, with this year’s focus being the Crystal Kids Foundation.

The buy in will be $200, to be paid in full prior to tournament commencement. The Tournament will begin at 2pm and will be conducted as a points elimination tournament with the players competing for a seat at the final table (10 seats at the final table.) There will be a $50 rebuy and top 10% will be getting paid out, there is limited availability so register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

Originally founded in 1992 by Edmontonians as the Greater Edmonton area sports and recreation association, operating out of a 980 square foot location at the time, what is known today as the Crystal kids’ foundation provides an invaluable service to Edmonton’s inner city youth.

Crystal Kids’ mission has expanded far beyond promoting health and physical fitness for inner city youth. They aim to foster youth self-esteem and help ensure their mental and emotional wellbeing. Through Crystal Kids, youth and their families can access invaluable resources and support networks to help maintain dignity and balance in their lives. They also reach out to those who suffer from isolation, including seniors and recent immigrant families, providing them with healthy communication and positive social interaction.

    • No point system, the person who made this advertisment did not know much about poker and posted it without confirmation. Its a regular run of the mill tournament with elimanation to the final table after the first hour of rebuys.
